I truly hope you enjoy working with my team and I!
It is my passion to take care of people, assist in their activities of daily living and have engaging conversations. I am dependable, compassionate and I feel I have a lot to offer and share with those I work with; enjoying the connection I am able to build over time. I enjoy the ability to spend time with people, supporting them to engage in activities dear to them as well as tending to appointments, going to the shops and alike. Personally, I enjoy going for walks, spending time in nature and encouraging joy for myself and others.
I possess exceptional communication abilities, as well as cultural sensitivity to deal with a diverse range of people. I pride myself on being able to quickly learn new skills and adapt to any situation. I have cared for members of my family and would love the opportunity to put a smile on someone’s face. I have a recent Police Check and current Blue Card, an open license in the state of QLD and would appreciate the opportunity to work with you.
Therapy Assistance Animal
Harper is our Therapy Assistance Animal – in training. She joined our team in October 2021 and has hit the ground running. Despite still being a puppy, Harper has shown us, even within her first few weeks, that she was born for the role of supporting clients in our therapeutic space.
Harper is easy going, kind and gives the best puppy cuddles. You will always be asked at your initial appointment if you have any concerns or allergies when it comes to dogs. Our clients (you) always remain the focus of sessions; Harper can simply be a wonderful addition for those open to having her in the room.
Our Principal Practitioner, Hayley has been busy upskilling to ensure our space and Harper enhance your experience with us. Hayley has now completed an International Certificate in Animal Assistance Therapy as well as currently completing a short course (Animal Assistance Therapy for Health Professionals) with La Trobe University. If you have any questions about this service offering please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
